Anyone driving down U.S. 1 on Saturday, June 9, might have passed a group of people picking up litter alongside the roadway.

This was an effort by the Epiphany Knights of Columbus Council 12569 to complete their Adopt-A-Road community service project along the Council’s designated two mile stretch of U.S. 1 in Port Orange.

After the cleanup, the group had collected six large bags of trash and debris from the medians and sidewalks of the roadway.
