Port Orange Library encourages family time with stuffed animal sleepover and dance party

The party was a way to encourage togetherness in a fun environment.

With dancing and laughs, dolls and stuffed animals partied with their human families on Monday, July 9, at the Port Orange Library. 

Youth Services Librarian Laura Armstrong said the event helps to show children that the library is a welcoming place where they can use their imaginations. 

Once the families had left for the day, the children's toys stayed over at the library for a sleepover, and, the next day, the families picked up not only the toys but also photos of the party they had enjoyed together.
