In its 35th year, the Ormond Beach Art Guild celebrated a spring art show featuring 18 artists with an opening reception at The Casements on Friday, April 6.
Ormond Beach Art Guild member Nancy Jones said the guild has two shows a year at The Casements and one at the Ormond Beach Public Library.
“The interesting thing about it is how it’s a mix of people from all different jobs and lifestyles,” Jones said. “The nicest part about it is when you look at your own painting that you’re doing, you don’t see everything. Someone else looks at it with fresh eyes and it gives you a different perspective.”
