United Way Volusia-Flagler volunteered their efforts on Saturday, Sept. 16 to help Flagler Beach recover from Hurricane Irma. Ten volunteers gathered at Beach Front Grille, located at 2444 S. Ocean Shore Blvd., Flagler Beach, and were then sent out to help with the beach cleanup with the Friends of A1A, a volunteer community sector organization funded primarily through the National Scenic Byways Program.
Volunteer coordinator Francine Martin said 30 volunteers participated in the Volusia County effort as well.
