Laura Armstrong wanted to STEAM to get spooky. The sponsor for a science, technology, engineering, art and math club incorporated Halloween into the club activity Oct. 25, at the Port Orange library. In costume, the kids drew ghosts and used balloons and static electricity to pick up the ghosts. Armstrong said her favorite thing about the club is "seeing their reactions" and experiencing science with them.
