Candy and costumes galore filled the Palm Coast United Methodist Church for a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday.
The 12th-annual Trunk or Treat featured 32 cars, trucks and vans, which is 12 more than at last year's event, said Leanna Mannino, director of children's ministries. Superheroes, dinosaurs, princesses and more lined the parking lot for their turn to collect sweet treats.
"It's important for the community to have a safe place to come and trick or treat," Mannino said.
Last year, there were 1,200 visitors at the event on 5200 Belle Terre Parkway. Mannino said over 1,500 people attended on Saturday.
