To celebrate a job well done by the Flagler County Sheriff's Department, Sheriff Rick Staly presented certificates to several employees of the month, as well as lifesaving awards to officers and pins to those with many years of service.
The recognitions were presented at the Quarterly Awards Ceremony on Monday, Oct. 23, at the Sheriff's Operations Center in Bunnell.
"This is a great opportunity to recognize our employees who do a great job day in and day out," Sheriff Staly said. "And, in this case, also citizens who helped."
Sheriff Staly presented Years of Service Awards to employees that have been working for the FCSO for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30 years.
Five years of service: Alfred Franzini, Julio Jurjo, Nancy Malheiros
10 years of service: Sam Bell, Robert Blanton, Alicia Cowan, Paul DeSousa, Jonathan Freshcorn, Karen Perry
15 years of service: Genice Caccavale, Anthony Marino, Diego Morales, Jon Reckenwald, Beatrice Rivas
25 years of service: John Bray
30 years of service: Mark Carman
