Members of the Ormond Beach community were up bright and early Saturday, Nov. 4, for the Ormond Beach Police Athletic League's 20th-annual golf tournament, which helped raise $11,000 for the police department's youth programs.
The tournament, held at River Bend Golf Club, was an 18-hole scramble. Their hole-in-one prize was a 2018 Harley-Davidson Motorcycle sponsored by Bruce Rossmeyer’s Daytona Harley-Davidson.
The annual golf tournament is the major fundraiser for OBPAL and helps to fund programs like boys and girls basketball, after school tutoring, summer art classes, field trips and bowling to name a few.
