Another senior night at the "Ship." Another easy Matanzas victory. This time, it was the Lady Pirates who easily defeated their crosstown rival, Flagler Palm Coast, 15-1 on Tuesday, March 28, at Matanzas.
"This game is usually circled on our calendar," said sophomore Cadaen Wilds, who scored five goals. "It's crosstown, and some of us play on Blue Skies Lacrosse together. There's always a little trash talk, so it's a big deal for both teams to try to win,"
The Pirates and the Bulldogs have struggled to find consistency this season, but both — sharing the same district — will look to keep their season alive in the district tournament next week at Pedro Menendez.
