A spin room with real-movement bikes and a screen that projects virtual scenes is among one of the unique features at MPower Fitness’ new location.
The 24/7 gym held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on July 12 at 160 Cypress Point Parkway Suite D213. MPower tripled its membership in the last year, Justin Vanadore, general manager and part owner, said. It therefore outgrew its old location at 3 Boulder Rock Drive.
Vanadore said the gym now has over 1,800 members, many of whom take part in over 300 fitness classes, from Zumba to TRX to yoga, that are offered each month. There’s also a cardio area, weight station, cross training areas and private showers.
He said the MPower team is excited to bring the local health and fitness community together in a fun, new environment.
“We want them to leave here with a smile on their face, knowing ‘Man, I had a great workout, and I’m ready to come back,’” Vanadore said.
MPower Fitness also provides complimentary childcare in an activity and crafts space with membership.
The gym officially opened its new location on May 5.
