The Casements was alight with holiday music for the 12th-annual Holidays at The Casements on Thursday, Dec. 14.
The Moonlighters band, under the direction of Joe Mirante, perfomed Christmas favorites like "Jingle Bells," "Let it Snow" and "Santa Claus is coming to Town" throughout the night. The Moonlighters have been part of the event since its inception and Siobhan Daly of Ormond Beach's Department of Leisure Services said it's like a reunion every year at the Casements.
The Casement Guild decorates Rockefeller's historic home each year during the first week of December.
“I think the community likes to come out and see how we’re decorated every year because we like to do things a little different each year," Daly said, "And who wouldn’t want to listen to holiday music and get in the spirit of the season?”
The event also featured special appearances by Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, who sat outside during the concert so children could visit with them.
