The congregation of Port Orange Presbyterian Church hosted its Children’s Christmas Musical on Sunday, Dec. 3. Elementary and preschool kids dressed up as angels to perform “Hark the Angel Sang Off-Key,” a musical that tells the story of an angel named Hark who struggles to get her voice in tune for a choir performance on the night of Jesus’ birth. The children have been practicing since September.
The cast included Hark, played by Kailyn Hlavacek; Harmonious, played by Abigail Hlavacek; and Gabriel, played by Nolan Palmer.
The musical received a standing ovation from the audience.
