A beautiful day for Santa to land in Flagler Beach

The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach presented the 2017 Holiday at the Beach Parade on Dec. 2.

The Holiday at the Beach featured Santa's grand entrance via parachute, followed a 45-float parade on Dec. 2, in Flagler Beach. The winners of the float contest are as follows:

  • Best of Parade (offered by Craig Flagler Palms Funeral Home) – Flagler Beach Fire Department
  • 1st Place Depicting Theme (offered by Golden Lion) – Flagler County Centennial Committee
  • 1st Place Marching (offered by State Farm Insurance) – Matanzas High School Marching Band
  • 1st Place Best of Talent (offered by Alliance Financial Partners) – Studio Z Fit
  • Best Entertainment (offered by Flagler Auditorium) -Flagler County Sheriff’s Office
  • 1st Place Judge’s Choice (offered by Palmer Studios) – First Baptist Church of Bunnell
  • Honoring Vets (offered by Flagler Executive Airport) – The Windsor
  • Honoring First Responders (offered by John Emery) – Scud Busters
  • Honoring Volunteer of the Year Dave Dalecki (offered by the Flagler Beach Rotary) – The Divas of Rotary
  • Parade Director’s Choice (offered by the Flagler Beach Rotary) – Flagler County PAL
