About 900 Flagler Schools faculty and staff members gathered at Flagler Palm Coast High School on Wednesday, Aug. 2 for the annual back-to-school employee breakfast, celebrating the district's centennial year.
School Board members served up eggs, bacon, bagels, potatoes, biscuits and gravy for teachers, many of whom proudly represented their schools in color-coded attire. Teachers browsed through tables represented by local businesses for information and free trinkets.
Superintendent James Tager welcomed Flagler Schools employees with a presentation in the Flagler Auditorium, as well.
The 2017-18 school year begins on Aug. 10 for Flagler County students.
