In its inaugural season, the Flagler Warriors organization is up and running. It’s five teams recently completed week No. 4, and league owner Steve Brandt is happy with his teams’ progress.
“We’ve been together since July, and it’s taken until now before everything has started to gel,” he said. “We’re being competitive in every game we play, and the kids and coaches are doing well. Overall, I don’t have any complaints. We got a long way to go, but we’re coming along.”
The Warriors have Panama up next, beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at FPC.
