Lion Treasurer Mary Yochum, Greg Evans and Lion President Bobbie Cheh attended the district meeting in Homosassa, FL along with 130 Lions from across the region.
Almost 50 club members and guests enjoyed the buffet dinner and Dolphin View River Cruise one Sunday evening in August.
Members of the Ormond-By-The-Sea Lions Club recently donated school supplies and books to Osecola Elementary. They also held a book sale on Labor Day to raise money for glasses and hearing aids for the needy in the local community and participated in a beach clean up after trash washed on shore from Hurricane Hermine.
The group is offereing free blood sugar screenings from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 17 at Riverview United Methodist Church, 2253 John Anderson Drive. They are partnering with Walgreens who will offering a flu shot clinic at the same time.
