Flagler Cats, a professional and affordable spay and neuter clinic, held the Bunnell Festival at Bunnell City Hall May 14. This was Flagler Cats’ second year hosting the event after the chamber and city had hosted previous years. The festival brings Flagler County agriculture roots together. “We are a farm county,” said Flagler Cats Executive Director Mari Molina.
“I felt it was important to continue the event and the momentum of it,” said Molina.
This year’s potatoes were provided by Hawkins Farms with the help of Commissioner Tucker, who helped arranged the fresh potatoes for the festival. Flagler Cats volunteers David Genk and Bob Rushing spent the day making french fries that were available for purchase.
Proceeds from the festival went to Flagler Cats for their spay and neuter program which allows cat owners to bring in their cats to be spayed or neutered.
