Over 500 Batmans, Supermans, Incredibles, Flashes and Green Lanterns crowded the streets of Town Center early Saturday morning for the 2nd-annual Superhero 5K. The event included a Destiny Dash for the kids in kindergarten, or younger, and the Super Loop for kids ages Kindergarten and up. The Super Loop took the little heroes around the lake in Central Park, while the smaller kids crawled over obstacles in the Destiny Dash.
Proceeds of the event went to benefit PC4, the Palm Coast Community Child Center, a 501c3 located at 1 Pine Lakes Parkway N. Around 150 volunteers helped organize and direct the event.
