It took nearly a month to finish the last few innings of the first game between the Seabreeze Lady Sandcrabs and Mainland, but it's finally over. Having a 4-0 margin from their last outing, Seabreeze added another run to win 5-0 Tuesday, Mar. 1, in Seabreeze.
After a brief break, the teams went back out to the field for Game No. 2, and the Lady Bucs went up early and never relinquished their lead. After failing at a late comeback attempt, Seabreeze failed to Mainland 7-4, which was the Bucs' first win over their rivals in years.
Up next, the Sandcrabs will Matanzas at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Mar. 3, at Matanzas, and Mainland will play Deltona at 4 p.m. at Mainland.
