Fire on Raintree Lane causes $400,000 in damages

Occupants say the fire started from one of their cars in the garage.

The state fire marshal is conducting an investigation into a fire that caused $400,000 in damages to a house at 90 Raintree Lane. 

Two occupants of the three-story, three-car garage home reported the fire at 10:10 p.m. Aug. 2. According to a press release, the fire appears to have started in the garage and spread to the second floor. No injuries were reported, and the occupants believe one of the cars in the garage caught fire.

No determination has been made as to the specific cause of ignition.
