different was the average age of the artists whose work was on display – 16 years old.
“I think it keeps getting better every year,” said Ed Beckett graphic design instructor at Flagler Palm Coast High School. “We do a show at FCAL every Fall, and JJ (Graham) and Petra (Iston) let us do this show here in the Spring.”
Art Gallery owner and artist JJ Graham congratulated the students and gave them some words of experience. “If your piece didn't receive an award, don't let that discourage you,” he said. “Drive is the most important thing. If you decide to follow a career in art, you have to be one of the most stubborn people in the world.”
