Over 70 artists are represented at the Gallery of Local Art, GOLA, in Flagler Beach. Between Friday, Oct. 2, and Saturday, Oct. 31, many GOLA members are competing for first place in the Upcycled Art exhibition. The artists made use of ordinary, everyday objects and transformed the materials into extraordinary and original pieces of artwork. Visitors to the gallery can vote for their favorite piece of artwork. The artist will the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award and receive a weekend stay at the Flagler Beach Motel. Artist receptions are held every first Friday of the month from 5-8 p.m.
