Dick and Helene Davis were presented a $5,000 check at the Fall Festival at Whispering Meadows Ranch in Flagler Beach., on Saturday, Nov. 7. The money was raised at the Golfing for Special Friends Tournament in September. Whispering Meadows Ranch is a volunteer based, non-profit organization, dedicated to enriching the lives of those with disabilities through recreational, educational and equine-assisted program.
The residents (350 year-round) in the Town of Beverly Beach collected more than 400-pounds of food, and $550 for the Feed Flagler Food Bank Thanksgiving collection. Sandra Siepietoski, commissioner, spearheaded the collection. Beverly Beach thanks the residents for their continuing generosity.
