The annual Tomoka Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk took place at the Ormond Beach Library.

Hana Uneda, Camryn Chiumento, and Emma Uneda went back around the finish line to continue to cheer on their classmates. Slightly sweaty and out of breath, they still managed scream encouragingly for their friends till the race was over.

The young trio wasn’t alone in this behavior. The moment the line was crossed, most runners turned back around to support the rest of the back. The runners of the annual  Tomoka Brave, Strong & Healthy 5K Run/Walk were not in the race to win it alone.
