Local artist Donald Kolberg, from Levittown, New Yok, is being featured at I AM ART/Rachel & Friends now through mid-September. He views art as an ongoing process that is impossible to get to the end because it is always creating more questions and possibilities.
“One of the most beautiful aspects of my wire sculptures is that they are not perfect. The figure draws people in to see the shadow image that resides behind them.” Said Donald Kolberg.
Donald finds interest in the idea behind human condition and portrays the concept in his artwork. He focuses on how objects create feelings for people through memories. He hopes to render certain feelings when people view his various mediums of artwork. His gallery includes numerous handcrafted wire sculptures, steel ribbon sculptures and a large variety of paintings.
