New Way Church gave back to the community with over 100 free backpacks brimming with school supplies for families in need. Free haircuts were also provided so the kids can go back to school in style.
“I went to school without paper and crayons, I know how that feels," said Pastor Kim Summerlin. “And that is why I want to make sure tonight everyone in need gets a backpack.
Kim and her husband, Rick Summerlin, are both founders and pastors at New Way since 2005. With their support and guidance, they hope New Way will reach all who is in need in Flagler County, not only with back to school help but in every aspect in life.
