Domestic Abuse Council prepares for third annual Purple Parade

The Domestic Abuse Council will host their third annual Purple Parade Sept. 27. 

With a mission to raise awareness for bullying and domestic violence, the Domestic Abuse Council will host its third annual Purple Parade Sept. 27. There will be activities including magicians, Zumba, self-defense demonstration, roller skating and a local high school will share her personal story of how bullying impacted her life.

The Purple Parade will take place at the Midtown Cultural and Education Center at 925 George W. Engram Blvd. in Daytona Beach. The cost is $5 per person or $25.00 for a group of up to 10 people. Preregistration is preferred. Go to www.domesticabusecouncil.com.
