Historical Society launches new guidebook

The Ormond Beach Historical Society released their new guidebook of Ormond Beach Aug. 28. 

The Ormond Beach Historical Society the “Guide to Scenic and Historic Ormond Beach” Aug. 28.

Inside the pamphlet includes pictures and descriptions of 41 of the most historic sites around Ormond Beach, including many on the society's Scenic Historical Bus Tour.

“This booklet has been a labor of love,” Historical Society President Diana Simmons said. “Everyday visitors to the welcome center ask if we have a comprehensive list of the historic sites of Ormond Beach.  Now we can say ‘yes, here it is.’ The guide book is being offered for a two dollar donation to the society to cover the cost of reprinting.”

The book is available at the society’s welcome center located in the Historic MacDonald House, 38 E. Granada Blvd.
