Palm Coast resident Chhom Chann has been sentenced to five years in prison for aggravated battery in connection with an attack on a woman last March.
He had been in jail for 334 days by his sentencing, and those days will be credited to his sentence.
Deputies arrested Chann March 29, saying he held a woman against her will, forced her to strip, tied her hands behind her with a pair of pantyhose, raped her, struck her and threatened her with a knife.
He pleaded no contest to the aggravated battery charge in January, and prosecutors dropped charges of domestic battery, sexual battery, kidnapping and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
