Ormond Beach Drive Joao Barbosa targets a third win for the upcoming Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen.

Joao Barbosa has a goal in mind.

With his team Action Express Racing, the Ormond Beach driver hopes to win Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen for the third time in a row.

“The Sahlen’s 6 Hours of the Glen is a very tough and high intensity race,” Barbosa said. “It is very challenging but Action Express has shown that it knows what to do to win.

Barbosa and the team will return to Watkins Glen June 22. Barbosa said though the race will be tough, he believes in his team.

“I’m really excited to go back this year,” Barbosa said. “We’re leading the North American Endurance Cup and also fighting for the overall championship. The race will not be easy as we will have intense competition and the LMP2 cars should be quite at home there, but we know what to do to have a good result at the Glen. It’s all about preparation and that is what Action Express does the best.”
