Mobile home destroyed in fire

A home in the Camelot Mobile Home Park was destroyed in a fire this weekend.

At approximately 3:10 p.m. Saturday, the Ormond Beach Fire Department was dispatched to a residential structure fire at 436 S. Nova Road, Unit 47, in the Camelot Mobile Home Park. Upon arrival, emergency workers found the home was fully engulfed in flames, but the fire was quickly extinguished.

The home, however, is considered a total loss.

The owner’s primary residence is in Palm Coast. There were no occupants in the home.

Crews from Ormond Beach and Volusia County responded to the blaze, and the cause is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s office.
