The Florida Public Relations Association Volusia Flagler Chapter recently launched their "Driving for Literacy" book drive.

The Florida Public Relations Association Volusia Flagler Chapter is  “Driving for Literacy.” The group is launching their book drive beginning this this month and continuing through November.

The chapter will collect new children’s books and donate them to sick children who are staying at the Halifax Health Speediatric’s Unit during the upcoming holiday season.

“Our organization is delighted to kick-off the ‘Driving for Literacy’ Book Drive,” Stefany Strong, president of FPRA Volusia/Flagler Chapter, said. “This is a great way to put a smile on the face of a child who is having health challenges while promoting the importance of reading. We encourage everyone to donate a new book to this most worthy cause.”

Books are being collected at FPRA’s monthly meetings at LPGA International. For more information about how you can donate call 274-0500 Ext. 7772.
