A local deputy was involved in a car crash Thursday morning while responding to a call about a physical disturbance.
Deputy James Gore was heading south on Pine Lakes Parkway in his patrol car at about 9:45 a.m., according to a news release from the Flagler Sheriff’s Office.
As Gore entered the intersection with Palm Coast Parkway, an eastbound vehicle struck the passenger side of his patrol car.
Gore had no serious injuries, but the driver of the car that struck Gore’s was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler with complaints of back pain.
Florida Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
