Flagler Palm Coast High School student Mason Maloy, 18, won the 2013 Voter Guide designs contest.
There were nine entries this year, all from Flagler Palm Coast High School.

The Voter Guide is available for pickup at the Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Office and online at FlaglerElections.com.

Maloy’s accomplishment will also appear in the upcoming Flagler County electronic quarterly newsletter, which is also available at FlaglerElections.com.

“We have some very talented graphic design students in our local schools, and we appreciate the teachers who encourage students to use their creativity and be part of this project,” said Flagler County Supervisor of Elections Kimberle Weeks.

Elks install new officers
The Palm Coast Elks Lodge 2709 had its annual installation of officers. Those installed where Exalted Ruler Mark Fontana, Leading Knight Vincent Gough Jr., Loyal Knight Gerald O’Gara, Lecturing Knight Darrell Edge, Secretary Jeannie Fontana, Treasurer Jamie Woyton, Esquire Denise Ogelsby, Inner Guard Jack Lyons and five-year Trustee Fred Szwed.

In honor of Mark Fontana’s first meeting, which happened to be April Fool’s Day, there was a flash mob during the meeting.
