Raymond L. Thompson, of Palm Coast, has been accepted into membership of the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. Thompson is a direct descendant to John Alder (1599-1638) and his wife, Priscilla Mullins (1602-1687), who came to America aboard the Mayflower.
At a recent meeting of the local Sons of the American Revolution, Thompson proudly displayed his membership certificate to the society to President Ted St. Pierre and fellow members of the Flagler SAR Chapter .
He was assisted in his application process by members of the SAR, who helped by working on his genealogy and documentation required for membership.
