The second-annual benefit for Kase Powell, “A Kiss from Kase,” will be held Wednesday, Sept. 26, at Sonny's BBQ, in Palm Coast. A portion of the sales from the whole day, whether from the drive-thru, sit-down dining or take out, will go directly to the Powell family.
Kase was diagnosed with a brain tumor last year.
This year’s event will have new-and-improved T-shirts.
Companies interested in sponsoring can pick up a form at Sonny's. There will also be raffles again this year, a 50/50 raffle and gift certificates to Sonny's. Door prizes can be donated by contacting Jodi Weed, Alex Bogeart or Jess Hedetniemi, at Sonny's.
