The morning after Tropical Storm Beryl hit land in Flagler County May 27, no new wildfires have been reported and only one continues to be monitored, according to Flagler County Fire Rescue Capt. Jamey Burnsed.

As many as six county fires, all measured at one acre or smaller, were previously being monitored at once throughout May.

The blaze currently being monitored is .3 acres, fully contained and located east of Old Kings Road, near New Leatherwood Drive.

A tropical storm warning remains in effect in Flagler, which means winds more than 40 mph are likely.
