Six wildfires reported, contained May 15 in Flagler

According to Flagler County Fire Rescue Capt. Jamey Burnsed, six wildfires were reported in Flagler May 15.

Burnsed, who prepares daily maps of all active fires for emergency management personnel, said that all fires were measured at only one acre or less, and all are mostly to fully contained.

A list of all fire locations, sizes and containment level are listed below.

A one-acre fire flared up off State Road A1A, east of the Pellicer Creek Corridor Conservation Area. It is fully contained.

A .1-acre fire started off U.S. 1, just south of County Road 304. It is 80% contained.

A .1-acre fire started near U.S. 1, west of Bird of Paradise Drive. It is fully contained.

A .1-acre fire started in Princess Place Reserve. It is fully contained.

A .1-acre fire started off Interstate 95, east of Presidential Lane. It is fully contained.

A .1-acre fire started off U.S. 1, near Remington Road. It is fully contained.
