7 p.m. UPDATE
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office continues to work a bank robbery that occurred at 11:17 a.m. Thursday, at the Bank of America located at 4850 Belle Terre Parkway, in Palm Coast.

No one was injured and the robber reportedly fled the scene on foot, according to Public Information Office Debra Johnson.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35 years old, 6-feet tall, wearing a dark blue cap, white T-shirt and khaki shorts. He has short, light brown hair.

Investigators said the man walked into the bank and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen, but the robber implied he was armed.

“We believe this is not the first bank robbery this man has committed, and we are working with other law enforcement agencies to identify him,” said Flagler County Sheriff Donald Fleming.

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 386-313-4911.

According to the FBI website, the unknown male is also being sought in connection with several armed bank robberies in Duval, St. Johns and Volusia counties ... since early May 2012.
