12:45 p.m. UPDATE
The bank robber left the scene in an unknown vehicle, according to Capt. Paul Bovino, of the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office.
Bovino said the Sheriff’s Office informed nearby businesses and banks, as well as other law enforcement agencies, to work leads that could be connected to the robber.
“We’re trying to develop leads, and we don’t have anyone in custody or a known suspect at this time,” Bonvino said shortly before 12:15 p.m. at the scene of the robbery.
A search helicopter, K-9 units and other law enforcement agencies have been dispatched in the pursuit of the robber.
Bovino said no information was available in regard to how much money, if any, was stolen.
“The canvass right now is turning up empty, but we’re investigating other agencies to see what kind of other information they have,” Bovino said.
This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
