Three weeks after the Palm Coast City Council decided to revisit the ideas of allowing home-based food business in the city, the council will hear a presentation at Tuesday’s workshop.
The workshop is slated to begin 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 8, at City Offices, 160 Cypress Point Parkway, Suite B-106.
Last month, the City Council, with a 3-2 consensus, initially decided to maintain its code in regard to the home-based “cottage food” businesses. However, at the April 17 regular meeting, City Councilman Jason DeLorenzo asked the council to reconsider its stance.
This will be the first item on Tuesday’s agenda.
Other agenda items include the city’s five-year progress report and a presentation on easement encroachments with air-conditioning units.
The City Council will also discuss the creation of the public service tax and electric franchise fee to address stormwater maintenance and improvements.
