Blanketeers donate to veteran

Ronald Stark, of Palm Coast, was honored Tuesday, March 13, for his service to the country with the presentation of a blanket knit by Evelyn Izzo, of the Palm Coast Blanketeers.

Stark served as a member of the Marine Corps and the Army. He received a medical discharge after 20 years of service. Stark served in Operation Desert Strom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, Southwest Asia and Korea.

The blanketeers also donate knitted and crocheted handmade items that are distributed throughout Flagler County.
