+ Oden to Pathways; Taylor to Flagler Palm Coast High
Beginning in June, current Buddy Taylor Middle School Principal Winnie Oden will become the new principal of Pathways, and Pathways Principal Carla Taylor will become a new assistant principal at Flagler Palm Coast High School.

+ Clerk of court: ‘7% cut means losing three workers’
Gail Wadsworth, Flagler County’s clerk of court, penned a letter last week to state legislators, opposing a proposed 7% budget cut to court operations.

“A 7% budget cut … means we will lose up to three more people,” Wadsworth said. “At one point we had 31 clerks in court services; should this happen, we may be down to 15.5. Judge Atack says we are ‘skeletal’ today — tomorrow we may lose a leg.”

Staff announced to the Flagler County School Board March 6 that the district’s uniforms policy, which will go into effect next school year, is now posted online, along with a question-and-answer forum and a school-by-school color chart. Visit www.FlaglerSchools.com.

Palm Coast City Council — the next workshop is 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at city offices.

Parkway East Master Plan
— a workshop on the area including the Country Club Cove neighborhood and surrounding areas along Clubhouse Drive is 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, at the Palm Coast Community Center.

Flagler County Board of County Commissioners
— the next regular meeting is 5 p.m. Monday, March 19, at the Government Services Building.

Flagler County School Board
— the next workshop/meeting is 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at the Government Services Building.
