The City of Palm Coast will host their second-annual Tour de Palm Coast Bike Tour 8 a.m Saturday, July 21, starting at the Graham Swamp Trailhead, located one mile south of Palm Coast Parkway on the east side of Old King Road.

New QR code signs have been installed strategically along the trail to encourage bikers to connect and discover several historical and geological facts. Visitors can simply scan the signs using a bar code scanner for their smart phones.

The Tour de Palm Coast is part of the city’s 2012 series of Parks & Recreation Month events.

Other events this weekend are:
Dive-In Movie — 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 20, at Frieda Zamba Swimming Pool, 339 Parkview Drive.
 

Blood Drive — 10 a.m to 3 p.m. at Colletti’s Italian Deli, 5 Utility Drive. Free slice of pizza for all donors.
 

Pet Day — 10 a.m. to noon at 300 Dr. Carter Blvd., Bunnell. Hosted by the Community Outreach Team at Flagler Pines Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Proceeds from this event will be presented to the Flagler County Humane Society. Donations of new or clean, old blankets, biscuits and treats, feeders and waterers, calming aids, chews, collars, harnesses and leashes will be accepted. Call 437-4168.
 

Freethinkers and Humanists Meeting — 10 a.m. to noon in the Meeting Room of the Sleep Inn Motel, 10 Kingswood Drive. Stan Driban will present a program titled, “God and Pantheism.” Open to all interested persons; opinions are encouraged and respected. Call 447-8318.

Grenadian Association Picnic — 10 a.m. at Herschel King Park, 1000 Grady Prather Jr. Cove. This year’s theme is “Bring & Share.” Call 793-1475 or email [email protected].

Drawing with Mr. D — 10:30 a.m. at the Flagler County Public Library, 2500 Palm Coast Parkway N.W. A step-by-step drawing course led by cartoonist, illustrator and drawing instructor Bob Drost.
 

I Can Read Reading Pals Orientation Meeting — 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 21, at Flagler Volunteer Services Building, 5400 State Road 100. Learn how to volunteer to assist children with reading.
 

Pennsylvania Club Luncheon — 1 p.m. at the Grand Club at Pine Lake Country Club, 400 Pine Lakes Parkway. All Pennsylvanians in the area are invited to attend. Call 429-9275.
