At the Tuesday, Jan. 31 workshop, city staff provided the Palm Coast City Council with an update of the current sidewalks/pathways projects that are in progress.

Palm Coast Construction Manager Carl Cote provided the update.

The update, according to a Jan. 31 presentation by city staff, is as follows. No sidewalks in the Seminole Woods area are under construction.

Whiteview Parkway
STATUS: Construction was substantially complete as of Jan. 25, 2012.

Belle Terre Parkway
Phase 1 STATUS: complete

Phase 2 STATUS: The project is 232 days behind schedule; 32 days are attributed to the city for delay of design submittal reviews, as well as time for legal review; 100 days are attributed to S.E. Cline for delay of design submissions.

Rymfire — Ralph Carter Park to Lehigh Trail
STATUS: Under design; awaiting approval. The scheduled substantial completion was Feb. 23, 2011, but the project is 435 days behind schedule. The revised completion date is May 3, 2012.

Of the delays, 428 days are attributed to the city for delay of design submittal reviews, as well as time for city consultants to complete the stormwater model of this section of Palm Coast. The project was also delayed to modify the design to meet budget and have no adverse affects to the existing stormwater system.

Palm Harbor Parkway
STATUS: Under design; 60% complete. Scheduled to begin construction March 27, 2012.

Belle Terre — Fire Station No. 25 to Town Center
STATUS: Design approved; construction 0% complete. The project will be completed by city staff. Anticipated substantial completion is June 2013.

Pine Lakes Parkway North roadway improvements
