The city of Palm Coast has several capital projects under way, and an update was provided to the city manager in a regular report this week.
The Whiteview multiuse path is 90% complete, with landscaping at 65% completion.
An extension to an Indian Trails Sports Complex roadway is just getting started. Bids were received in October for asphalt, signs and other components. The roadway has been staked, and installation of underground electrical conduits began Jan. 9.
Three projects are in the design phase. Design of Bulldog Drive improvements is 60% complete. Survey and geotechnical work was recently completed, as well as a traffic study.
The design of a project on Pine Lakes Parkway North is 95% complete.
The design for expanding Palm Coast Parkway to six lanes is 30% complete. City staff met with the Florida Department of Transportation Jan. 12 to discuss the next step in addressing the right of way needed for the project.
