The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a hard freeze warning from 10 p.m. this evening to 10 a.m. Wednesday.

A wind chill advisory is also in effect until 11 a.m. today, when cold arctic air will drop temperatures to below 30 degrees.

The wind chill will be in the mid- to upper-teens, thanks to arctic gusts of 30 to 35 mph at times.

A lake wind advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. Today, meaning small boats will be especially prone to capsizing. Boaters in Flagler, Marion, Putnam or St. Johns counties should avoid open water and stay close to shore in wind protected inlets. High profile vehicles should use extra caution, as well.

The lowest temperatures will likely be around sunrise on Wednesday morning.
