Bertram Green, a professor of African-American studies and a former administrator at Lehman College, in New York, presented a DVD film titled “Both Sides,” an oral history narrated by black residents of Flagler County, at the February meeting of The Retired Educators Association of Flagler County.

The film is a product of the students of Flagler Palm Coast High School. Green is the mentor and motivator for the student-produced work, a story of the life of black inhabitants in Flagler County during the last century, written, directed, edited and filmed by students.

The REAFC meets 11 a.m. the first Monday of the month from October through April at Florida Hospital Flagler. Meetings are open to the public.
