“Over the River and Through the Woods” opened Friday, Feb. 24, at the Flagler Playhouse, 301 E. Moody Blvd., Bunnell.
The play runs 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, through March 11.
The “Everyone Loves Raymond”-type comedy directed by Bruce Heighley is about a young man dealing with his two sets of overbearing grandparents. It addresses issues of family relationships with witty whip-smart dialogue, intelligent characters, and an old-fashioned point of view.
Cast members include Peter Gutierrez, Kathryn Weed, Jenica Frederickson, Bruce Popielarski, Sue Pope and John Pope.
