The Bunnell Elementary School Book of the Month for February is “Wilma Unlimited: How Wilma Rudolph Became the World’s Fastest Woman” by Kathleen Krull. Students have also been participating in a Black History Month fact of the day contest.

Each day the students are given clues about a famous African American in history. Students then begin researching facts about influential African Americans throughout history to match the clues.

“It has been a big hit so far,” said Michele Mantell, media specialist. “We can’t wait to see what the children learn by the end of the month.”
